Not in our sources for PROLINE: a ticket where every pick is void.
How it is calculated
- Payout = stake × the prices of all picks multiplied: $10.00 × 2.10 × 1.85 × 2.40 = $93.24.
- A void pick drops out: it counts as 1.00.
- Chance from the prices = 1 ÷ total odds. Fair chance of a pick = (1 ÷ its price) ÷ the sum of 1 ÷ price over all outcomes of its event.
- Ticket margin = 1 − total odds × fair chance of the ticket.

How to play PROLINE in store
- Read the PROLINE ListThe game list (event list) shows events, markets and odds. Payouts are always calculated on decimal odds. X in 1X2 means a draw or tie.
- Fill in a slipMark a single, or a parlay of 2 to 8 picks on paper. A digital betslip allows up to 20 picks.
- Choose your stakeEach wager is $1 to $100. OLG may lower the maximum.
- Submit before cut-offThe retailer must process the slip before the cut-off of the earliest event on it.
- Check your ticketMake sure the picks and stake match. If it wins, see how to claim PROLINE winnings.
How a PROLINE ticket pays
Payout = odds of pick 1 × odds of pick 2 × … × stake (decimal odds, all picks correct)
Example: For example, three picks: 2.50 × 1.50 × 1.91 = 7.16, then $10.00 × 7.16 = $71.59. In store, rounded to $71.60.

Single vs parlay on PROLINE
Single
- One pick, one result
- Payout = odds × stake
- Offered in store and on PROLINE+
- Void single: stake refunded
Parlay
- Odds multiply: payout grows, chance drops
- Every pick must be correct
- Void leg is removed; stake stays on the rest
- Related outcomes not accepted, except Same Game Parlays
- The ticket margin (built-in cost) grows with each pick – how much PROLINE keeps
Rules that decide your ticket
Regular time by default
Unless the market says otherwise, bets settle on regular time. Hockey team markets with no timeframe include overtime and shootouts.
Exactly on the line
A total or spread that lands exactly on the line is void. Some combined props and Same Game Parlays follow different rules – see the rules page.
Postponed events
Moved more than 12 hours later, or cancelled and not rescheduled: void, with listed exceptions.
System bets
Trixie, Yankee, Canadian, Heinz: sets of bets built from 3 to 8 picks.

Questions
Where can I find the PROLINE game list today?
Check the current PROLINE List on olg.ca or at a retailer. This page does not copy the list – events, odds and cut-off times change.
Is Sport Select the same as PROLINE?
No. PROLINE is OLG's game in Ontario. Sport Select and Pro-Line are lottery sports games run in other provinces, with their own rules, which this page does not cover.
How old do you have to be to play PROLINE?
In Ontario, in-store sports betting requires 18+. Online sports betting requires 19+.
Are PROLINE payouts calculated on decimal odds?
Yes. OLG settles every bet on decimal odds, whatever format was shown. Bet history may show rounded odds, but the payout uses the actual odds × stake.
