How it is calculated

PWHL standings: regulation win 3, overtime or shootout win 2, overtime or shootout loss 1, regulation loss 0. Regular-season overtime is up to 5 minutes, 3-on-3, first goal wins; then a shootout. In the playoffs, full 20-minute overtime periods until a goal.

Bet results here follow the usual market definitions: moneyline includes overtime and the shootout; the 60-minute 3-way uses the score after 60 minutes; the puck line and total use the recorded final score. Settlement rules belong to each book – check yours.

Questions

How do I read PWHL odds?

They work like any hockey odds. For example, a $10.00 bet at +150 (decimal 2.50) returns $25.00, including the stake. The implied probability is 40.0%.

Does a PWHL moneyline include overtime and the shootout?

A standard hockey moneyline is settled on the final result, including overtime and the shootout. The 60-minute line counts regulation only. The rules of the game you play set how your bet settles.

Is there a shootout in PWHL playoff games?

No. A playoff game tied after regulation continues with full twenty-minute overtime periods until the first goal.

How many teams make the PWHL playoffs?

In the fourth season, 8 of the 12 teams play in the playoffs for the Walter Cup.

Can I bet on the PWHL in Canada?

The answer depends on the laws of your province. This page is not legal advice. Check what your provincial lottery's sports games offer.
